Highlights of Reorganization

Environmental Impact Assessment: Through the implementation of environmental impact assessments as required by the Environmental Impact Assessment Act for development activities, the ministry aims to balance environmental protection and economic growth for the goal of sustainable development.

Environmental Education: Establishing environmental education and exploration centers and integrating environmental education resources and achievements of the Ministry of Environment so as to expand the promotion of key policies of the Ministry of Environment.

Environmental NGOs: Promoting the establishment of environmental protection foundations and public benefit trust funds, and expanding the guidance and supervision of their business scope and financial status.

Summary of Services

Environmental Impact Assessment: This involves the amendment of environmental impact assessment regulations, the review of environmental impact assessment cases, and soliciting government policy opinions on environmental impact assessments.



Environmental Education: This involves consultation on environmental education policies, regulations, and solutions.
