The department comprehensively plans environmental policies, systems and related plans, and is in charge of governance planning, regulatory assessment, policy research, international cooperation, and technological development. At the same time, it promotes Taiwan's 2050 net-zero transition "net-zero green life" key strategy, and is responsible for environmental protection product management, handling of pollution disputes and relief, promotion of various certification inspections and inspections, training of environmental protection talents and other businesses, in order to build a net-zero green life and implement a sustainable environment.
