The management objectives of the Chemicals Administration are to be gradually and stepwise enlarged, expanding from current controls over toxic and concerned chemical substances to encompass the management of chemical substances operating in Taiwan. This expansion will be achieved through the implementation of diverse policies and control measures, taking into account foundational risks and scientific evidence, and adjusting flexibly as needed. Moreover, the disaster and accident prevention and emergency response mechanism will be optimized through technical classification and specialized division of labor models in order to achieve our vision of "effectively managing chemical substances and collaboratively creating a healthy, sustainable, and non-toxic environment".
