The Ministry of Environment, in its efforts to promote green growth and achieve the 2050 net-zero transition goal, officially announced the "Guidelines for the Implementation Plan for Strengthening Investment in Green Growth Net-Zero Industries" on Feb. 4, 2025. In terms of fund management, the ministry published the "Strengthening Investment in Green Growth Net-Zero Industries Trust Management Plan" tender notice on Feb. 7 and expects to open bids on March 11.

To enhance investment matchmaking and professional support mechanisms, the ministry plans to establish a dedicated office, with relevant information expected to be announced by the end of February. This office will provide investment matchmaking services, assist emerging net-zero enterprises in development, and introduce interdisciplinary professionals in finance, marketing, and management to establish an expert advisory and consulting mechanism for net-zero carbon reduction.

The ministry emphasizes that fund management will adhere to the principles of professionalism, transparency, and fairness to ensure the effective utilization of funds in promoting domestic green growth and net-zero transition. Moving forward, the ministry will continue to collaborate with various sectors to drive Taiwan’s green and sustainable development and welcomes all parties interested in net-zero efforts to participate.
