On 11 August 2016, the EPA announced amendments to the Regulations Governing the Installation and Management of Dedicated Indoor Air Quality Maintenance Personnel.
To effectively implement the Indoor Air Quality Act and the system of dedicated personnel for indoor air quality control, on 23 November 2012, the EPA announced the Regulations Governing the Installation and Management of Personnel Dedicated to Indoor Air Quality Maintenance in accordance with Article 9 Paragraph 3 of the Indoor Air Quality Act.
The main point of the amendments announced on 11 August 2016 is to improve the installation mechanism and enhance the functions of dedicated personnel. The amendments stipulated that dedicated agents must meet the criteria for receiving dedicated personnel training courses and conduct indoor air quality management tasks on a regular basis. In addition, in accordance with the requirements of the Training and Management Regulations for Dedicated Environmental Protection Personnel and Professionals, stipulations of the orientation training for new personnel have also been added.
