The Division of Environmental Sanitation is in charge of the following matters:
- Developing, promoting, coordinating, implementing, and supervising policies and regulations regarding environmental sanitation and cleanliness maintenance.
- Developing, promoting, coordinating, implementing, and supervising high-quality environmental creation policies.
- Drafting, promoting, coordinating, implementing, and supervising the policies and regulations of Government-employed Sanitation Worker regarding safety and sanitation, equipment, professional skills, and welfare.
- Planning, promoting, implementing, and supervising environmental cleaning and general waste removal equipment, vehicles, facilities, and system optimization.
- Planning, promoting, coordinating, executing, and supervising emergency responses to environmental pollution.
- Planning, promoting, coordinating, executing, and supervising emergency responses and environmental restoration from natural disasters.
- Developing, promoting, coordinating, and supervising coastal cleanliness and maintenance policies.
- Other matters related to environmental sanitation.
