Promote the certification in three areas -- environmental education personnel, institutions and facilities, in order to improve the environmental education certification and quality, build a cross-disciplinary environmental education resources network in Taiwan, and ensure diversified and fine-quality outdoor and environmental learning. Tasks primarily include:

• Promotion, issuance, revocation, abolishment and management of environmental education certification
• Environmental education certification survey, counseling, evaluation and extension
• Planning and execution of subsidy (donation) to environmental education institutions and facilities
• Training to enhance capabilities of environmental education institutions and facilities
• Special characteristic promotion and R&D of environmental education facilities
