The community serves as the fundamental unit of society. In order to actively promote environmental education through the "Community Environmental Education Empowerment and Environmental Protection Classroom Project," a series of community-based initiatives are being implemented. Those initiatives encompass individual communities, united communities, and environmental protection classrooms. Our implementation approach emphasizes meeting the unique needs and characteristics of each community and adopt a bottom-up strategy to encourage the community participation. The primary goal is to foster the consensus among community residents and transform it into concrete environmental protection actions. Simultaneously, this process is helpful to shape the vision for the future development of the community. Through the promotion of interconnected projects, the community can gradually work towards obtaining environmental education facility certification. This transformation will turn the community into a comprehensive and multifaceted environmental education learning center.
